This is my next attempt at a baby quilt. It is much better in my opinion. Imagine that, a pattern and everything...

This is the label........

....And here's herself now......

This is the first quilt I made. If I remember correctly it was back in 1992. I really didn't know what I was doing but I had temporary custody of my mothers old Singer sewing machine, left-over fabric, and a bunch of little counted cross stitches that I had done over the years and this is what came of it. I intended to use it for my first child but I never had any so I use it in the front room as a little throw.

My Christmas napkins

I saw these once at a quilt shop but didn't realize what they were until I saw them at a fund raiser where I work. I made the pattern myself based on the width of a fat quarter (about 16.5 inches to give me room for pinking).

I just played with the folding until I got the look I wanted. I pressed them and sewed in the creases.

Here is one with embellishments...... .....and a close-up.
